Florists
Our florists prepare all our flowers at our Belfast premises. The florists always ensure that their displays of flowers can be enjoyed and loved as the special gesture that only a hand delivered bouquet of flowers can achieve. The florists use their skills to create a special gift of flowers where texture and colour is used to create interest.
The overriding essence of Belfast Flower Shop is the love, enthusiam and passion for flowers and high quality service.

Flower Care
Cut Flowers
Unwrap your flowers with care and add the contents of the complimentary flower food sachet to water in a vase. Cut the base of the stem and remove any foliage that will be below water level. Arrange the flowers and place the vase away from direct sunlight, radiators, fruit and draughts. The cooler the room, the longer the flowers will last. Change the water at least every three days and remove any faded blooms to encourage buds to open.
Roses
For bouquets of roses remove 1 inch from the stem with a sharp knife and cut at an angle. Try to avoid crushing the stem as this prevents the rose from taking up water. Stand in a deep filled vase filled with water and flower food added. Change the water in the vase at least once every three days. If a rose head flops, cut 1 inch from bottom of the stem as above. Keep the roses away from draughts, fruit and radiators. The cooler the room the longer the roses will last.
Hand Tied Flowers
Leave the packaging on if desired, or remove with care but do not untie the flowers. Stand bouquet in a vase containing water and flower food added as instructed on the packet. Keep flowers in a cool, draught free area, out of direct sunlight and away from fruit. The cooler the room the longer your flowers will last. Remove any faded blooms or foliage as soon as possible. Change water in vase at least every three days.
Baskets
Keep the basket of flowers in a cool, draught free area, out of direct sunlight and away from fruit. The cooler the room the longer your flowers will last. Remove any faded blooms or foliage as soon as possible. Moisten the oasis by adding water at least every two days.
